Do home study courses need to be preapproved to receive CEUs?
Home study courses do not need to be preapproved in order to be considered acceptable continuing education activity by most State Licensing Agency. In fact, only a limited number of States actually preapprove continuing education activity or continuing education sponsors. In order to be acceptable continuing education activity, home study courses must meet the criteria set forth by the governing Statutes for an individuals licensed practice.
In addition to meeting all State requirements for acceptable continuing education requirements, ErgoRehab chooses to seek pre-approvals in those States and organizations that offer them as an added benefit to our course participants. How do I receive credit for taking your course?
In order to receive credit for ErgoRehab’s home study courses, you must complete the quiz with a passing score of 70% or more. A certificate of completion will be sent to you stating the number of continuing education credit received.
Is there a time limit for completing the home study courses or certification programs?
No. There are no time limits. You can complete ErgoRehab's home study courses and certification programs at your own pace.
For how long is a certification valid?
ErgoRehab's certification designations are valid for a period of 5 years. To renew their certification, designees must demonstrate at least 25 hours of continuing education activity in their area of certification every 5 years.
