As a Certified Specialist in Functional Assessment, an individual will establish themselves in their professional practice by learning to perform the following:
- Achieve successful outcomes in worker rehabilitation.

- Identify and evaluate functional activities and functional limitations.
- Clinically manage injured workers in rehabilitation.

- Associate CTDs with their common clinical signs and symptoms.
- Understand the pathophysiology of work-related injuries.
- Perform and interpret Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).
- Develop and manage Return to Work Programs and Services for disability management.
CSFA. Program Features (Course No. C201) ErgoRehab’s CSFA Program Version 1.0 is a unique functional assessment certification system that is designed specifically for rehabilitation professionals. The CSFA Program combines real world applications with all the benefits of home study. The CSFA System reflects a comprehensive learning approach that takes the participant through an entire process from effectively measuring and interpreting functional capabilities to writing effective FCE and Return to Work reports. To be eligible for the CSFA designation, a candidate must be a qualified professional in the field of rehabilitation. Fields of practice include; physical therapy; occupational therapy; athletic training and chiropractic medicine. |

To receive a CSFA designation, a candidate must:
- Complete all three home study course manuals (H105, H106, & H107).
- Submit 3 Functional Capacity Evaluations.
- Submit 2 professional references.
- Submit a completed CSFA application and $25 fee.
